Clingstone is a 103-year-old mansion set on a rock in Narragansett Bay off the coast of Rhode Island purchased by Mr.Wood in the 60’s for something like $3,600. To upkeep the place he invites people over once a year to have a work weekend.

I would love to spend time laboring in/around this house, followed by a nice sit on the dock with a mint julep.

My favorite part about the article/images is this:

“A sign by the ladder that leads to the roof reads: No entry after three drinks or 86 years of age. “It used to say 80 but we had a guy on a work weekend who was 84, so I changed it,” said Mr. Wood…”

I love people sometimes.
